This tour is a 14 day guided resort ski tour in the powdery central Chilean Andes with Professional Canadian Ski & Snowboard Instruction to improve your powder skiing or snowboarding for all levels of skier or snowboarder whether it's your first time in powder or you are experienced but want to improve or challenge yourself. All skiing will be chair-lift accessible.
The trip starts with a tour of Santiago and all its wonders on arrival day and then skiing the modern ski resorts of La Parva and Valle Nevado with over 25,000 acres of dry Andean powder, these 2 ski resorts with El Colorado make up the 3 Valleys of South America. In the evenings we are in the heart of Santiago dining at the top restaurants with wine tastings and salsa clubs.
Our next base is in Los Andes to ski the World famous resort of Portillo for 2 days. We then travel south visiting a famous vineyard on the way to ski the magical Nevados de Chillan ski resort set on 2 volcanoes and possibly Chile's most 'Chilean' ski resort. This is where the locals come to ski and snowboard! The skiing & snowboarding here is legendary boasting 10,000 acres.
Included is a taste of the local Indian and rural culture when we visit Chillan's outdoor market the most typical of all the Chilean markets still thriving in the town of Chillan.
On the Chile Resort Ski Tour with Instruction you will have the opportunity to receive as much or as little professional instruction, depending on want you desire and your skiing level, to help enjoy the abundant fresh tracks Chile offers. Our instructor-guides are friendly, fun and knowledgeable and fluent in Spanish.
Discover a magical and friendly country and it's culture while experiencing the incredible and unique skiing of Chile with it's abundant snow and powder opportunities. Also be able to take advantage of the powder with instruction geared to making you stronger and smoother in the powder.

Itinerary

» Day 1: Fly into Santiago & meet your instructor-guides, hotel check-in, group and trip intro with traditional Chilean lunch, Historical City tour of Santiago.
» Day 2-4: Breakfast, 3 days skiing at Valle Nevado and La Parva ski resorts, wine tasting one evening, dining in Santiago at excellent restuarants, opportunity to visit salsa dance club and one free evening.
» Day 5-6: 2 days skiing at the World famous Portillo Ski Resort. Evenings in the traditional mountain town of Los Andes and experience true Chilean cuisine including a traditional Chilean asado (barbeque).
» Day 7: After breakfast you will travel south experiencing the vineyards with views of the Andes and the volcanoes to the town of Chillán and experience Chile's most traditional market. Stay in the Valley of Las Trancas close to Nevados de Chillan Ski Resort (formerley Termas de Chillán)
» Day 8-11: Breakfast, 4 days skiing at Nevados de Chillan Ski Resort, enjoy natural thermal pool in evenings, dinner at various restaurants.
» Day 12: Breakfast, travel to Santiago, with a visit to Miguel Torres Vineyard Tour & Wine Tasting with Lunch. Return to Santiago, hotel check-in, dinner.
» Day 13: Breakfast, skiing with your instructor-guide at La Parva for a final day of skiing the Andean snow. Dinner and wrap up party in Santiago
» Day 14: Transfers to airport for your flight home. (Most Saturday flights arrive back to the US or Europe on Sunday).
